About us

In April 2017, we bought a house in northern eastern France. A house, no, it was a green lump in an overgrown landscape. Trees, blackberry bushes, ivy and wedding veil hid the gem that was really underneath. Fortunately, we were able to "see through" it and, with the help of many hands, made this gem visible. The house sits on over 27,000 m2 of land. A small river ("La Superbe") flows under our house and there are places to relax and unwind.

Hard work was also done in the house. There were spacious rooms and areas with little to no facilities, now we have 4 nice bedrooms, all with private bathrooms. There is also an area for relaxing (including home cinema) and a dining room in authentic style.
We, Jolanda and Erik, would like to convey our hospitality to you and let you enjoy the carefree life. Get rid of the stress, relax for a while and enjoy everything that is not there. Finally, we do want to mention that we also have 3 dogs, which have certainly been many a playmate for our guests.

The area

Our house is located in the Haute-Saône region. This region between the massif of the northern Vosges and the Jura mountains in the south is one of the most wooded regions of France. Its many rivers are a true paradise for lovers of water sports and its lakes, surrounded by abundant greenery, exude freshness. Ideal for hikers and cyclists who can make beautiful trips on the vast, quiet roads.  But you can also enjoy it to the full by car and motorbike.

Just an hour's drive away is the high Vosges Mountains. Forests, beautiful lakes, a wonderful hiking and cycling area. Here you can ski in winter and cycling enthusiasts can easily make their altitude metres.

Les Grand Ballons and the Planche des Belles Filles will certainly be familiar to followers of the Tour de France.
